What’s Stopping You? Is a free informal one-day event for women who are interested in working for themselves, or who have been trading for under a year. For the third year Business Link is running a series of What’s Stopping You? to inspire women to go into business.
Last year’s events were oversubscribed so booking early for this chance to get free tailored information and advice, is recommended. Delegates will meet and hear from successful entrepreneurs and can benefit from the experience of local women who have already started a business.
The day kicks off at 9.30am with a seminar to introduce women to confident networking. Other talks during the day range from ‘effective marketing’ and ‘money matters’ to ‘creating a knock-out first impression’ as well as a panel session from women telling their business stories. There will be an exhibition area, a networking zone and friendly Business Advisers to answer questions. Everything is free – even lunch and refreshments. What’s Stopping You? events are supported by SEEDA.
