Eastleigh Town Centre Partnership Launched

Eastleigh’s town centre businesses are working together to attract more customers into the town.  They have formed the Eastleigh Town Centre Partnership, which is an association of town centre businesses and retailers.  Eastleigh Borough Council is also a member of the Partnership and has provided funding to help the Partnership get established.

The Partnership’s role is to strengthen and improve Eastleigh as a business centre by providing a variety of incentives to encourage more people to shop in the town.  These incentives will include discount vouchers and other special promotions, including a parking benefit scheme, which will provide money saving opportunities for town centre shoppers.

Eastleigh Town Centre Partnership was officially launched on Monday 6 July at the Wells Place Centre in central Eastleigh.  Chair of the Partnership, Dee Buffone, who is also Manager of the Swan Centre in Eastleigh, says:

“We have already had a lot of interest in the Eastleigh Town Centre Partnership and many businesses have joined in advance of the launch on 6 July.  There has been a lot of investment in Eastleigh with the new Swan Centre development and this is now a good time for businesses to join the Town Centre Partnership and benefit from the plans we have to get more people shopping in Eastleigh”.
